This week’s episode welcomes a very special guest, a magical being whose presence in the studio created such an awesome vibe throughout the entire building: Nicola Moras. Nicola is an online visibility expert, sought-after speaker and author of Visible, a guide for business owners on how to generate financial results from social media and digital marketing. Nicola helps clients around the world achieve visibility, impact, and profits, enabling them to become ‘professionally famous’ online.

She joins us, all the way from Australia, for a discussion on Visible, along with additional tools, tips, and tricks for how we can cut through a lot of the online noise and counter the fluff that exists in many of today's digital marketing strategies. Many of these “must-dos,” either never really worked or have stopped working. Not only does Nicola guide us to the good stuff, but she also talks to us about how we can do this work from a place of alignment, authenticity, and vulnerability.

We’re all different and each one of us has something unique to offer. When it comes to being visible and truly connecting with our audience, Nicola says our messages won’t be seen, heard or relevant unless we truly own our individuality; what exists deep within our core, an energy that manifested around the 11:02 mark as a “Roaaarrrmm.” Unless we’re able to truly tap into that, and really feel it, Nicola says we run the risk of bringing more of the same to this digital space. Intrigued? We hope so. We had such a great time during this episode!

6:55 Alignment

“For me, when it comes to making the decision to be visible it has to start from a place of alignment. Your visibility efforts aren’t going to look the same as what mine do, or what yours do, or what’s Kisma’s do. It’s really about making that commitment that you’re going to show up as you” - NICOLA

13:27 Power of Vulnerability

“I think there is a lot of power in being vulnerable online and in sharing you, but there’s got to be a line. There are some things that, it could be a really powerful story, but if it’s coming from the wrong intention around trying to be authentic and ‘vulnerability is the new black.’ Not to take away from some of the stuff that people have been through, but if it’s not being done with volition, or if you’re just trying to air a grievance, or trying to incite a response then that becomes manipulation versus vulnerability or authenticity” - NICOLA

19:27 Mission

“Some people think that the mission that they're doing now, for their business, needs to be the mission for their whole entire life.  It doesn’t have to be. It can be the mission for the season, it can be the mission for this duration.” - NICOLA

21:28 Permission to be All In

“It’s basically like giving yourself permission to be all in, right where you’re at. Rather than, ‘oh, well I know this isn’t the real thing so I can’t like be all in on that. I might have to backtrack later, I might make a mistake or all these other things.’ It’s really just giving yourself permission to be all in.” - NICK

30:58 Permission to be Fully Expressed

“Another thing I really dig about your work is that you give people permission to step into all these different parts of themselves and to really be much more fully expressed in everything.” - NICK
